MEETINGS

The second Wednesday of the month we have a guest speaker, who presents a 'seminar' on something photographic. The talks are usually centred about that speakers' particular experiences and talents.

Members also hand in their works for the current month's image competition.

The third Wednesday of the month we have a 'Prac Night' currently labelled "Special Interest Groups". The topics vary from month to month depending on the member's interests.

The fourth Wednesday is judging night. At this meeting, a judge/judging panel, either from another camera club, or from our own Society, presents assessments and critiques of the photographic works submitted for the monthly competition.

 

Field Trips and Excursions are single day events, or weekends away, to a predetermined location.

Some members also arrange amongst themselves for a photo shoot during the week. We also run an annual event, called the Horrie Pritchard Walk, on the third Wednesday in February, named after one of our original members. We gather at a pre-selected spot and then walk around the area, often stopping for coffee.
